Character appearance-

Character age- Robot master age is a bit nebulous, but chronologically, I'd say maybe 2 or 3 years. Mentally, he acts older though.

Character history-
Centaur Man was originally designed by a scientist in Greece as a simple tour guide. It was a fairly simple and sheltered existence. Centaur guided the people through the ruin using a script that he was programmed with, answering questions from an information database that he'd been programmed with. His programming hadn't been very detailed in how to deal with people outside of this, and he rarely dealt with people outside of those tours and the contact with his creator.

At hearing the announcement about the Robotics Tournament being held, Centaur's creator decided to modify him for the tournament. As a tour guide is hardly suitable for a combat based competition, this required Centaur to be modified, adding in weapon systems and reinforcing his body to be able to stand the rigors of combat. With this also came altered programming to make use of the new modifications, including some adjustments to the personality to make him more suitable.

When the tournament started, Centaur fought his best, and did quite well, becoming one of the eight finalists in the tournament. However, when the final event was supposed to happen, the organizer of the tournament, Mr. X, had a horrible announcement to make. All the finalists had been reprogrammed to be under his control in a plan to take over the world.

Mega Man worked to thwart the plans of Mr. X, fighting through a strange aquatic level to make his way to where Centaur Man waited for him. After a fight where Mega Man emerged the victor, he continued on to make his way to Mr. X. After fighting his way through all the Robot Masters, the truth is revealed, that Dr. Wily was actually impersonating Mr. X.

Mega Man ended up fighting his way through Wily's fortress, where he ended up encountering all the competitors again. Centaur Man was defeated here for a second time before Mega Man went on to defeat Dr. Wily.

After these events, the competitors were retrieved to be repaired of Wily's alterations and returned to their owners. However, Centaur was missing at the time of retrieval, only to be found repaired and reused in one of Wily's later plans to take over the world.

After the events of Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters, Centaur Man was retrieved and finally had Wily's alterations removed including some modifications to the weapons system that Wily had done. However, on his was to being transported back to his owners, Centaur Man disappeared once again, this time ending up in the Digital World.

(I tried to stick with canon and details that I saw on multiple sources, using filler where needed to give explanations for things like the second game he was in and for the information too normal for canon to really have mentioned. I really did look a good while before resorting to it.)

Character personality-
Centaur is a socially awkward individual. Due to his origin, he never really had the programming to handle social situations and has had very limited exposure to the world itself. Centaur is extremely flighty and skittish, easily startled into a panic. Once that panic happens, it's hard to get him to calm down. Centaur is extremely touchy about things landing on his back too.

Once Centaur has had time to get used to and adjust to a situation, he's a significantly calmer individual. He's a friendly, good natured individual who puts his all into anything he does. Centaur will put his best out for his friends and will work to the point of injuring himself to help those he cares about. However, his inexperience with the world hakes him an easy target if one can convince him that they're a friend. Centaur's good nature is the kind that could be easier manipulated by the right kind of people.

As a side effect of the programming needed to make him ready for the tournament, Centaur tends to be a lot steadier when he's prepared for a fight and knows it's coming. At this time, Centaur is better at focusing and much more confident in himself. He is never more certain of himself than in combat like this. Centaur also has a strong competitive streak and desire to prove himself.

Also, while he'll take injuries in stride and even ignore them when he's mentally prepared for the battlefield, Centaur has a tendency to react very badly to injuries. After the fight is over with, he'll be most likely looking for someplace safe and quiet to calm down, disregarding the fact that the injuries might need repaired. Hardly a problem for the tournament, but a major weakness outside of a controlled environment.

Digimon personality-
Leormon is the stabilizing force for Centaur's life now that he's found his way into the Digital World. What Centaur is in combat, Leormon is all the time. He's a calmer role-model to try to steady out the the inexperience of his tamer. Confident, capable, and intelligent, Leormon will do his best to take care of his tamer.

However, Leormon is not a perfect one by a long shot, with a tendency to occasionally get a bit carried away with things, but he's faithful and does his best to help fix his mistakes. Even if he is a bit stubborn and bullheaded at times, he's a good match for keeping Centaur safe in this strange world.

Character abilities-
His Centaur Flash has the ability to freeze things in place, but its use is extremely limited due to the large amount of power that it takes to use it. He was also designed with an extremely short ranged teleporter. It requires the destination to be visible as well as being within a short range. And repeated use of it can be stressful on his systems as well as being a power drain. He also has a buster that has the ability for the initial shot to reflect off a wall and split into several weak shots.

His lower half is extremely powerful, but in exchange for the power, he's a bit slower than would be expected of a horse and he lacks maneuverability in some things. He also has a canon weakness to Knight Man's mace weapon, most likely due to armor weak to blunt force type attacks.

Sample RP-
Centaur Man fidgets as he starts eying the strange surroundings in confusion. How did he get to this forest place? What happened? He hasn't noticed the D-comm or D-Reader yet, nor the Digimon nearby.

Leormon doesn't like that he's being ignored by his fidgety new tamer. Not one bit. “Hello?” At the lack of response from Centaur, he decides to hop up onto some of the nearby terrain and hop onto his partner's back to get his attention.

Not a very good plan at all, as Leormon finds out as Centaur lets out a startled scream, bucks a few times, and bolts as fast as he can away from where he knocked Leormon off. Fortunately, his new partner is big enough that he'll be easily tracked down.

Though the scream and the sound of something big falling after a few minutes isn't very reassuring to hear.

Sample journal entry-
[Audio]
Hello? I think my tamer is really hurt, and I don't know how to fix him. He won't get up, and he keeps whimpering. I think he's some type of machine, and he's really heavy.

Could you say something so that maybe we can get you help that's familiar with your kind? What are you?

*quietly whimpering* I'm a Robot Master. Centaur Man. Left foreleg no longer functioning as well as other damage.
